Why Explorer Camps?
Every year more than 75% of our campers return to Explorer Camps with 9/10 of them coming from outside of Slovenia! There must be something that Explorer Camps is doing right?Parents love our disconnect to reconnect idea with a strict no phones policy encouraging our campers to reconnect with nature and also those around them. A phone detox perhaps?
Campers talk about making friends from over 24 different countries and getting to spend countless hours to make truly strong bonds and connections. The 30+ outdoor sports activities certainly keep them busy and happy whether it be in the water, air or on land! However our Arts, Photography and Woodwork Departments inspire them to be more creative and inventive. We like to think the central theme is the warm, caring, camper-centred environment where experienced staff create a truly positive, caring, and personal connection with all of the campers.
Explorer Camps is set at Hotel Kovač in Osilnica by the Kolpa River and is surrounded by 3 national parks. It is an approximate 90 min drive from the capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana.
