Morning Groups

Each morning groups of 10-12 students take part is specifically designed activities focused on building 21st Century Skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication. The curriculum revolves around the individual school's goals plus time of year but can include skiing / snowboarding, rafting, paintball, mountain biking, hiking and similar activities.

Afternoon Sessions

The same groups participate in school focused activities where schools request certain combinations and skill-sets to expand on. During warmer months this includes river rubing, adventure park, giant swing, rock climbing, STEM activities, survival sessions, Escape Rooms, archery, biking, woodwork, makers' space, orienteering etc. While in winter it could be snow shoeing, sledding, igloo making and curling.

Supervised Free-Time

Every day students have two one hour periods of free-time where they have the freedom to create their own entertainment all supervised by Explorer and school staff members. The goal is to give students the responsibility to plan and execute their own time building important life skills on the way forward.

Evening Groups

Before dinner each day, the groups gather to talk about their day in our reflection session building important communcation, listening and social skills. After dinner their evening activities as a mixed group with such things as campfires, minute to win it games, night walks, haunted houses, Escape Rooms, talent shows, crazy games and overnight camping.
