Does your child spend too much time looking at screens or phones? All technology is banned for their entire stay on camp with your children spending over 12 hours a day which is 90% of their time in nature.

Learning how to take healthy risks is vital for your child but it isn’t taught at school. At camp your child is inspired to step outside of their comfort zone, helping them practice healthy risk taking and build life skills.

At a typical camp we have 6 different age groups ensuring that each and every child spends most of their day with children their own age. As a result, our experienced staff are empowered to create age-specific activities.

WHY IS EXPLORER CAMPS A "HOME AWAY FROM HOME"?
Your Child’s Day Unpacked: Activities, Schedules & Skills
MORNING GROUP ACTIVITIES
Groups based on age step outside of their comfort zones and participate in activities such as rafting, bellyaking, Gellyball, horseriding, biking, team building, hiking, and more. All the time amongst their peers while building strong connections / friendships.
Twice a week groups take a 1/2 trip away from the campsite either to a white water activity or a hike / bike ride which includes a full lunch.
AFTERNOON CHOICE
In the afternoon, all campers are on-site together and have more than 10 activities for campers to choose from individually or as a group.
The choices include off-site activities such as biking, SUPing and rock climbing, while on-site there is something for everyone with which cooking lessons, archery, tie dye, escape rooms, bracelet making, beach volleyball, arts & crafts, STEM, ball games etc.
EVENING FUN
Every evening your child participates in camp-wide Tribe Wars building connections through short and fun challenges across all age groups tha cultimates in a last day camp-wide battle!
To wind down the day, groups go to Campers’ Corner where they participate in more low energy connection games designed to bring groups closer together and boost the overall positive spirit amongst campers.
