Camper FAQs:

One of the most common Camper FAQs. All campers stay in comfortable three star 2-3 bedded rooms with a private bathroom and fridge.

We have scheduled free time in the mornings, afternoon and evenings and on top of this they have free choice activities in the afternoons and evenings so you can choose to spend time with just their friends doing that they like.

One of the amazing things about our camp is the fact we’ve got so much enclosed space at our camp site. Campers have an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, two large indoor spaces for games, movies and fun, a huge restaurant area that seats over 300 people!

All of this is great, but the best thing is the attitude of our staff. Before camps we create specific plans on how to approach wet weather and are always ready to make your day fun no matter what the conditions.

The atmosphere created on camp is such that campers from all ages and backgrounds are constantly interacting and supporting each other. Making friends is a team effort, including the staff, so you’ll never be alone.

YES! In the afternoons and evenings we have ‘Choice’ activities meaning that campers are given at least 7 options of what things they would like to do and they sign-up for them.

The beauty of our camps is that all of our staff are trained ESL native English teachers so we are used to supporting children improve their English through positivity and fun. Because our days are spent running cool activities it’s easier for you to interact and enjoy rather than focusing on the language. On top of this, there’s a fantastic mix children from around the world so there will always be someone that speaks your native tongue.

A wonderful thing about camp is that you can bring a friend, however when on camp you make so many more. Campers can make requests to be with friends in rooms, however throughout the day they naturally interact and befriend new people they meet for the first time.

Camps are about adapting and trying new things. We always want to make you happy, and try to give you enough variety to choose something that you like but there are times when maybe this doesn’t happen. However, before camp it’s important that you share your specific dietary needs so that we can create individual menus for you based on your allergies etc.

On the first day we take all of these devices and put them in the hostel safe and we redistribute them at the end of the camps .The focus of camp is to interact with those around you so that you build relationships that hopefully last for the rest of your lives. We understand that technology plays an important part of teenagers growing up in the modern world, and we aim to provide enough stimulation so that there isn’t a need to constantly use these devices

Your parents and you will go through our Behaviour Form and also our Approaches to Misbehaviour before camp. These will outline what our approaches are so you fully understand any potential consequences. The main point is that the rules and expectations will be communicated to you clearly before and during camp, so it’s important to follow them. Of course, there are times when you make mistakes which is completely natural. Learn from them. This is an important Camper FAQs.

Common worry for our campers. However, we couldn’t be further from a school camp if it were possible. Our goal is really about having fun, enjoying life, and getting away from the classroom but back to nature. You’ll soon see how different we really are.

In the morning and evening activities you’ll be completely separate from the rest of the camp. In fact, even during the afternoon choice activities you’ll have options such as paintball, stand up paddling, biking, bridge jumping all of which are teens only.

However, we do encourage our older campers to take on some responsibility and show care towards the younger campers. It’s really important that we grow empathy amongst our team.
