Dear Parents,

A winter or summer at Explorer Camps is a tremendous gift that you can potentially give to your child. We take this gift extremely seriously and realize the huge expectations you have for your child’s winter or summer experience at our camps. It is our goal to exceed those high expectations in every way possible.

Our team oversees all aspects of your child’s winter or summer and we know that above all, you are entrusting us to keep your child safe and secure. We take this responsibility to heart and work tirelessly to build and maintain a culture of responsibility and care amongst our staff. Safeguarding your child’s physical, emotional, and social well-being is always at the forefront of our thoughts and guides our actions on a daily basis.

We also know that your child comes to camp with their own hopes and dreams about what they want to accomplish during their winter or summer at Explorer Camps. We work tirelessly to understand all our campers’ individual goals and we will support them in every way possible. It is important that we work together with both you and your child, so that we can provide the best possible winter or summer experience that you all deserve. Please contact us when you have any questions or suggestions as we are here to help all of our Explorer families. 

While it’s true that the focus of winter or summer camp is always going to be your child, you – the parent – is an equally treasured and valued member of our Explorer family. It is our desire to establish and maintain open lines of communication with all families, so we are able to support all of you in any way possible throughout the year. Whether it be meeting for coffee, or even milkshake with the kids. A video call early on a Sunday afternoon. An email exchange. Our camps are here to ensure that you feel comfortable and safe in our approach to camps. We will always be here for all of you. 

There are so many extraordinary memories and friendships that are waiting for your child this winter or summer. These experiences will remain in your child’s heart always, and without doubt you will be a massive part of them.
