What a Year! Looking Back at 2026 💛
2026 was our biggest, warmest year yet! More families than ever became part of the Explorer family — and honestly, it felt less like a camp and more like one big reunion. The proof? Over 25 brand-new 5-star Google reviews from parents and campers who told us, in their own words, that this truly is a home away from home.
And that’s exactly what we set out to build. From the moment campers arrived, they weren’t just visitors — they belonged. New friendships sparked over campfire songs, old friends picked up right where they left off, and every child was welcomed with the love, care, and respect that sits at the heart of everything we do. They loved all aspects of camps so it is challenging to highlight only one moment!
2027: Our Most Adventurous Summer Yet! 🌄
Last summer filled our hearts — and your reviews filled us with purpose. The message from our Explorer families was loud and clear: you love the home away from home we’ve built together. So for 2027, we’re keeping that warm, family feeling at the centre of everything… and taking the adventures to a new level.
Campers will set off on true half-day trips to breathtaking destinations — all with lunch included. Back at camp, our brand-new on-site Adventure Park with its thrilling 30+ metre zipline awaits, alongside Zorb Bumper battles and hands-on STEM projects. And mealtimes? Completely transformed, with “Make Your Own” lunches and international dinner nights that turn every meal into a celebration.
LOOKING BACK ON 2026
The Ultimate Home Away
In 2026, friendship came first — with complete free choice (no fixed groups!), campers followed their passions and found their people naturally.
Evenings sparkled at Campers’ Corner 🏕️, our nightly connection time full of laughter and stories, plus beloved pizza-making evenings 🍕 and twice-weekly off-site meals that turned dinner into an adventure. It was an experience that brought in campers from over 27 different countries.
The result? Deep bonds, inside jokes, and friendships that last long after the final campfire fades. 💛✨
ROOM TO BREATH AND CONNECT
2026 struck the perfect balance — campers were more stimulated than ever, yet given more space to simply be which empowered them to simply relax and enjoy.
The runaway star? Our brand-new Hammock City 🌳, where campers swayed between the trees, chatted with friends, read books, or simply watched the clouds drift by. It quickly became the favourite spot in camp.
Because we know that between all the adventures and excitement, the quiet moments matter too — that’s where friendships deepen, batteries recharge, and campers truly feel at home. 💤💛
BONDS BEYOND THE ORDINARY
Th camps was the year groups truly became families. Something special happened as campers connected on a deeper level than ever before.
From whispered campfire secrets to inside jokes that lasted all summer, friendships blossomed everywhere — over meals, on trails, and during quiet hammock chats. Campers didn’t just share activities; they shared moments.
By the final day, the tears said it all. These weren’t just camp friendships — they were the kind of bonds that feel like coming home. 💛✨
FUN BEYOND CAMP
Last summer, lucky groups of campers set off on amazing half-day trips — and came back with memories to last a lifetime!
Some hiked through the stunning Logar Valley to the magnificent Rinka Waterfall 🏞️, others stepped back in time at Celje Castle 🏰 before getting hands-on at the Technopark 🔬. And one very fortunate group spent the day meeting the animals at the zoo 🦁 — an absolute highlight!
Each trip was a chance to explore, bond, and discover the beauty and excitement waiting just beyond our camp gates. 🌟💛

With multiple routes across a range of difficulty levels, everyone from first-timers to fearless climbers can find their perfect challenge. And the crown jewel? A soaring 30+ metre zipline 
that sends campers flying through the air with the biggest smiles imaginable.
It’s the perfect way for campers to push their limits, cheer each other on, and discover just how brave they really are. 
A Food Revolution for 2027
You asked, we listened! Every on-site lunch is now “Make Your Own” — campers build their dream meal, from hotdogs and hamburgers to kebabs, fajitas, ramen bowls, and burritos.
Dinners take campers on a trip around the world with a new international theme every evening — Italian, Chinese, Mexican, American, British, and of course, Slovene night!
Every meal includes full meat and vegetarian options, a specialised and plain side dish, plus an extensive salad bar loaded with fresh veggies. And in the evenings? There’s always a warming soup waiting. 😋🥗
So Much Choice - Every Afternoon
In 2027, every afternoon is an open invitation to explore! With greater variety and total freedom to choose, campers will mix and match activities to create their perfect day.
New favourites include hands-on STEM & Science projects 🔬, hilarious Zorb Bumper fun 🤪, and exciting off-site trips that add a splash of adventure to the week. Whether they’re budding inventors, thrill-seekers, or curious explorers, there’s a perfect fit waiting campers.
With something fresh every single day, campers will own their afternoons — building confidence, trying new things, and making memories entirely their own. 🌈✨
REAL ADVENTURES. REAL DAY-TRIPS!
This summer, we’re going further than ever! Our true half-day trips depart at 12:00 — lunch included — and return by 18:00, packed with stories to tell.
Campers will hike the breathtaking Logar Valley 
, one of the most picturesque valleys in all of Europe, explore the historic city and castle of Celje 
, and feel the rush of summer tobogganning 
as they speed down the track.
These aren’t quick excursions — they’re proper adventures, giving every camper the chance to discover the very best of Slovenia together.
