Explorer first aid training Primary Care teaches children how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The Emergency First Responder course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise
Explorer first aid training Secondary Care covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. Children focus on secondary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice. Secondary Skills taught in this course are Injury Assessment; Illness Assessment; Bandaging Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures.
The price of the course is based on the individual needs of the school and can be done on an individual basis for only those students looking to get the certification rather than all making it more cost effective.
EFR MATERIAL
All participants receive material covering all of course work including Primary and Secondary Care. On top of this is access to extensive EFR video demonstration which outlines all of the steps.
