Co-Founder and Director
With a passion for cultivating high-performing teams, Tim combines his expertise in client management, activity delivery, and team leadership with a robust background in finance and IT, having led major change programs and managed large-scale global projects. His experience as an Executive Consultant at Ernst & Young has refined his skills in program management and process improvement. A former Officer in the British Army’s Royal Corps of Transport, Tim’s military background enhances his insights into leadership and teamwork. As a seasoned camp director of international summer and winter kids’ camps, he has successfully fostered trust and camaraderie among participants. Holding a degree in Management Science and Operational Research from the University of Wales, Tim is dedicated to guiding teams at Explorer Team Building toward exceptional results.
Steve Hartley
Co-Founder and Director
With over 10 years of experience in corporate team building and training, Steve has developed strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. He is also a Youth Mental Health Trainer with LEAD and an Emergency First Responder Trainer, specializing in crisis management. As the founder and CEO of Explorer International Summer and Winter Kids’ Camps, he creates activities that promote communication, trust, and personal growth, leveraging his extensive camp management experience to gain insights into team dynamics and emotional intelligence. Steve’s unique combination of education, training, and practical experience makes him a standout leader in the team-building industry, passionate about empowering individuals through innovative activities and meaningful interactions.
