Does your child spend too much time looking at screens or phones? All technology is banned for their entire stay on camp with your children spending over 12 hours a day which is 90% of their time in nature.

Learning how to take healthy risks is vital for your child but it isn’t taught at school. At camp your child is inspired to step outside of their comfort zone, helping them practice healthy risk taking and build life skills.

Is your child ready to challenge themselves and meet children from around the world? With over 40 different nationalities at camp your child broadens their horizons learning across cultures while making life-long friendships.

Your child’s “home away from home” serves four nutritious, delicious meals daily—with constant variety from breakfast through dinner, tailored to all dietary needs and preferences. We keep them energized, happy, and well-fed, just like at home.

Will my child be safe on camp? Our dedicated and educated team spends hours of training to ensure your children not only are physically safe but also mentally made easier by the 4:1 camper to staff ratio while on camp.
freedom to choose
Our children are able to create their own Explorer schedule with 14+ activities in Afternoon Choice and Down Time periods every day designed to empower our campers to grow indepedence, responsbility, communication and connections.

At a typical camp we have 6 different age groups ensuring that each and every child spends most of their day with children their own age. As a result, our experienced staff are empowered to create age-specific activities.

Explorer Camps has an extensive and in-depth approach to risk management on top of staff being certified in Youth Mental Health and as Emergency First Responders (1st Aid) plus being a 3 min drive to a the nearest major hospital.
